That would be awesome if he recognized the 200,000 member milestone... especially while we have the Trixies and City Life contest going on all at the same time. 29.gif

I wouldn't get to excited, as long as no one cheats and makes a second account, the counter might not hit 200 000 for a few weeks.

Indeed! Wasn't it is in 2006 when we celebrated 100,000?

I think it was indeed!  It was about 2006, in fact. . . Dec 26, 2005 was around the time we did.  That's an incredible increase! 4.gif

It could happen during Thanksgiving break...you never know.4.gif

This site has been here so long, but I'm like 4 months away from my first full year here.  I can't wait for this next milestone!  And who knows...

if we adapt the site to a knew  city builder, we could become even more popular like it's (said to have) been before...but being a bit of a newbie still, I wouldn't know.2.gif

You can only have one account registered to any given email address, so if you have another email, you can create another account. This is generally frowned upon, though. Many of the people here who have second accounts made the second one when they were having problems with the first (unable to log in, hacked, etc.), though some have created second accounts upon the first getting banned (bad idea), and a few have done it just for jokey purposes.

Oh, and patriots... there's a one fingered salute headed your way if you do that. I apologize, but it's my duty as a Yankee fan. Best I can do is give you fair warning.3.gif

Well, if I remember correctly *and this was when I was still a new member*, everyone was wrong in their bets because the staff at the time deleted thousands of accounts that hadn't been used in a long time or something like that. Inactive accounts, I think they called them. So, we had to wait a full month after the 2005 Trixies, which was Christmas 2005, in order to achieve the 100,000 milestone. Boy, has time flown by or what! The rate of growth is tremendous and I can't imagine how much more we'll grow, especially when Cities Unlimited comes.

Had it not been for the recent clamp on cloning by the unfortunately efficient mod team, we might very well have reached 200K already. 3.gif

Only 345 members left!!!!!!! 9.gif

Unfortunately only a few hundred members are active on this site, but even more people are becoming more active as time progresses. I think a majority of people who aren't active on the forums utilize the site mainly for the STEX.
