This is all good, but only about half probaly ever get used, and most of them just use the STEX. However it's still good!

Some sites will periodically delete zero post accounts ("zero post leechers", they're called), since they don't like people joining just for access to the downloads and whatnot and not participating in the community. Some sites will even restrict downloads to members who have at least a certain number of posts and/or have been members for at least a certain amount of time. This is not one of them, though. The only accounts which get "deleted" here are those which never answer their activation email. Once you're activated, you're safe. Unless you get banned, that is.

Actually, what was more interesting was the 300,000 post (total) milestone. It was reached twice. Shortly after it was surpassed, the forum games got cleared out and the count dropped by about 20,000, which brought it back down below the milestone. So now we had someone who took credit for making post number 300,000 when the total number of posts on record was only 285,000 or so.

What's interesting, though, it that your personal post count does not drop if one of your posts is deleted. That number is how many times you've successfully posted. Unless one of the admins takes it upon themselves to alter it (which has happened a few times for various reasons, mostly as punishment for spamming).
