Yay!! Thank you soo much for doing DC! It's amazing! First off I want to say congrats on taking the most amazing night shot of the Washington monument! Also love the capitol building and the construction behind it. And the National Archives building is beautiful in real life, and you captured it well. That shot is only missing DC Traffic lol.

This update is so good, I'm glad you did it. You know I've been looking forward to DC 5.gif

Keep it up, have fun in Brazil and I'm excited to see what city is next.

Great work on this CJ. I really like what you've done with the cities so far. I know you are not running out of cities to do, I would really like to see Chicago, Philadelphia, Amsterdam, Sydney, and Rome. Thanks for the good work!

well, i live in DC, so i was gonna be a tough critic when u showed the Washington DC city... and here it is.... LOOKS MAGNIFICENT... only thing that i dont think is realistic is the circle around Lincoln Memorial, and Constituion Ave (way bigger blvd and way more traffic, WAY MORE TRAFFIC, lmao)... but hey, what can u do.. its only sc4, and for your effort and creativity, i give it a 10!

Keep up the EXCELLENT work!

Fantastic stuff as always! I do kind of wish you'd shown some of the areas of Washington where the veneer isn't on - there are a lot of lower rent areas not far from the Mall, and would have made for an interesting contrast. Regardless, it's very well-done. 9.gif

My only complaints: where's the DC traffic? and also cars are no longer allowed to drive on Pennsylvania in front of the White House. Also It would've been cool to have a zoomed out shot that includes DCA. Hilarious that such a gigantic terrorist threat is in the middle of our nation's capital.

note to administrators: i thought the 600 x 800 pictures would be okay because they it's basically 800 x 600 backwards, if not, please let me know 4.gif

I have just returned from a two week long trip to my hometown of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I had an absolutely fantastic time, with loads of funny stories to tell. I photoshopped a batch of about 50 pictures for you all, every single one taken by me. I thought I'd post these set of pictures in WORLD aswell!

First, Here is a picture of the quiet street of my family's home:

    janeiro.jpg

...and the large avenue located nearby with an excellent view of Christ the Redemmer:

..and also a shot of Lagoa from my grandmother's balcony.

    Driving/Walking/Shopping 9.gif around Ipanema:

Don't remember exactly what the name of the mountains in the left are called, The one in the right is Pedra da Gavea.

My cousin and her boyfriend decided it would be fun to hike up Pedra Bonita, so that's exactly what we did ;D

Wow, Nice pictures, and one question, where did you get the buildings in Washington DC, like the National Archives? I know some of them are Maxis Landmarks.

I've been to Rio too! I love the scenery! Another place I've been that had great architecture is Tel Aviv in Israel. I loved it. The beaches are great. Anyway, I love the pictures!
