GuidThe purpose of this topic is to introduce Chinese bats to the ST community., similar to the Japanese Bat topic in the open discussion forum.

One major website for hunting Chinese Bats is simcity.cn

Another fan site is the Tian Du Cheng.

They are all forum base website, so for those who know nothing about chinese it could be very confusing. Therefore, I will regularly update and post the url and pics of Chinese bats here, and if you find something you want but can't find the url, post it here, I will try my best to find the download link for it.

A simple step by step instruction on how to register for simcity.cn:

if you click any link posted here and didn't register for the simcity.cn, you should have something like what's show in the picture. it just telling you need to register in order to view/download the content. here is the instruction:

1. locate the "register" button on the upper right conor.

2. then you end up a bunch of agreement that you need to agree on....just like other forum base site, you can chooce to read it. then click the little box below, and click the button on the right as shown in the picture:

3. here is where you fill in all the info needed:

follow the translation in the picture. a green check mark indicate the info you typed in are valid, otherwise a red cross will be shown.

then click done and you are ready to explore the world of simcity.cn! good luck!

Ok, it could be the register issue, you might need to regiter to simcity.cn to see the picture. I reuploaded it to imageshack now it should be fine. What about the download link? is it working?

Oh wow, cool! With some past familiarity I could slowly pick my way through most of the Japanese language websites, but before online translation tools, the Chinese language websites, be they in simplified or traditional or pinyin or wade-giles, somehow always befuddled me. I can't wait to finally see all the great stuff I just know must have been made.

@skyfire, I will not upload it here anytime soon, the reason are 1. by releasing it there i could get some feedback from testers in simcity.cn. 2.just to get more people to explore simcity.cn. if you have noticed all of my works have been pre-released over there too. as for the blacklines issue, i have just solved it thanks to someone in SC4devotion site. It is the anti-aliancing setting of my video card...this picture was taken a while ago, so the lines are there.

you know you can just set the registration page to english.

its a feature common to most kinds of forum software to support multiple languages. Obviously any user created text stays chinese, this just translates any built in text
