Beebeth! Looking good.. Still a little too much parking lot for me, but I suppose that's realistic! Oh, the poor trees died!  15.gif  I like those seniors residences lol.  They're very colorful.  NIce mosaic too with the cemetery..poor spruce grove, RIP 15.gif  3.gif

The new Spruce Grove is looking fantastic, but that's not suprising...you do really good work. Perhaps it will be even better than the original 3.gif

Oh and I really think you should change your banner to say "Sprucie" instead of "Spruce Grove". 4.gif

Aww, great job once again! I always look forward to your updates. Your so good at city planning!

Aren't you the one who did christmas lights on your city last year? If so, that was so cool! And, are you going to do it again this year? 2.gif

Keep up the awesome work beebs!

Chrissy

Update time! Now, I know I promised a nice gigantic update full of Capilano Valley, but I couldn't get enough done in time.. hoping by Monday I should be able to give you that one! I had a bit more done in Spruce Grove though, so I thought I'd show those off in the meantime.

    downtown1.jpg

Downtown Spruce Grove. Developing fairly well against the highway, many of the buildings are from the late 70's. Lots of people love them for nostalgia, but there's a growing number who think the town needs a facelift.

And just a quick mosaic showing some of the residential to the east of the Parkland Mall. Hopefully, I'll be able to show an overview soon so you can place yourself in the pictures.

And that's all I've got folks. Be sure to check back in a few days, I should have the Capilano Valley update up! 35.gif

I don't think I've commented here before, which is really a shame. I like your small towns and rural areas. I think the open spaces add a lot to that rural feel. There was a curvy mountain pass some pages back made of streets... I didn't know it was possible to make good-looking curvy roads with streets, great job!

YAY update time! Apologies for the delay, I was a few thousand km away from my computer, by a pool. But we're going off topic now.. I finally got enough to give ya a bit of a Capilano Valley update, so here it is!

    newresv1.jpg

Across the river from the mighty interchange, we've got a bit of redeveloped residential. It keeps the same sorta layout, with the avenue and everything, just sorta "updated".

    newresv2.jpg

And yes, I did somewhat eliminate Capilano Park. Fear not, it will make a return somewhere else in the valley. 4.gif

    resmosaic2.jpg

    resmosaic3.jpg

    resmosaic4.jpg

And here's just a nice way to place yourself from the interchange down!

And that's all I've got today. Hopefully, I should have more updates of the Valley in the future, work is just a little slow getting things done. 9.gif
