HOW TO BID

 

gBay uses the finest in auctioneering methods to help match eager bidders with the quality items they seek. All you need to do is to submit your bid by posting a message with the following items in it:

2. The lot number you seek (1-3)

3. Your current bid (in schulmonetas)

(Note: for exchange purposes, 1 schulmoneta is defined as 8.1 grams of 90% pure gold)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Bids need to be reasonable. We can't have a starting bid or increments of 1,000,000,000 or things like that. It would kill the real estate market. So, if you are bidding, gBay requests that you bid no more than 1,000 schulmonetas over the previous highest bid. Any bids wildly in excess of that will be lowered by gBay's software to 1,000 schulmonetas above the highest recorded bid.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE OUTBID

In the case some conniving, underhanded fiend tries to outbid you and leave you without a premier home in George's Crossroads... fear not! You can strike back with a counter bid. Just include all of the information above with a new bid. Note that since gBay is not computerized (a few centuries left for that) there is no feature to have an undisclosed maximum bid that will incrementally bid up to that amount in the face of additional bids, unlike a more recent knock-off, which will remain unnamed herein. So, you'll need to check Schulmania itself for updates. When you see you have been outbid, please be sure to place another bid! (See notes above.)

HOW TO WIN

If you have the highest bid for your lot when the auction closes, you are the winner! You will then be given an invoice. Upon payment, the keys will be delivered to you for your brand new home!
