National Symbols Update 5

Flag & Banner Time!

The national flag of Schulmania has been used in flag and banner form for many years. Towns and districts have been considering creating flags or banners of their own. 

The national flag is a gray-black-white tricolor. It is flown at every government office and on the ships at sea.

The town of Stell, one of the oldest towns in the country, located on the southern coast of Schulmanicus, was the first to be granted a banner design to use for civic displays.

This banner uses the colors of Stell's insignia, which is featured as the central element. This new symbol of civic pride is hung from the ceilings of civic buildings in town and from rooftops on special occasions.

Wirt, the administrative capital and home of the Supreme Wirdle, was granted its own banner a short time thereafter.

The regal gold and royal blue of the Wirt banner inspires all who see it draped from Wirtyplace and other important structures around town.

Seamstresses across the island got busy to produce these flags. Soon, overtime would be required when yet more banners were introduced.

Busscastle's banner uses a lighter color scheme than Wirt's. The colors blend well with the town's castle and eagle emblem.

Smightower's golden banner is quite a contrast to the darker ones designed thus far. The banner's cloth matches the golden hues of the ship displayed on the town's crest.

Not to be left out, the largest city in Atkinos District, Gran Maru, developed a green banner which incorporated its emblem perfectly.
