North_Havorbrook_Jan_13_411350837455.jpgNorth_Havorbrook_May_19_421350837889.jpg

The freight station and storage lot in the middle of North Havorbrook's industrial district. I used a lot of props for seaports with this one, I think the cranes look especially nice and add a realistic touch.

The entrance to the station is the most conjested part of my city. I really should put another gate in.

Ah, this seems to be the right thread for me to start out in the ST community. :)

I really love the work you guys did there. I made an extensive railway network, although I am but a tiny ant compared to what marvels you guys make. I hope you will forgive a newbie (even after being a heavy veteran of strategy, military, and most simulations) for something that is not a much quality work.

I'll post mine soon.

Bjoyrn Station. Two lines split here and a third crosses over, making it a significant interchange point. 5 platforms lie on the mainline and 2 more serve the viaduct. The tram also stops here and proposals exist for it to be the terminus of one of Kaninburg’s U-Bahn lines.

Very nice, ROFLyoshi. I really like the idea of a third line crossing on a viaduct; it reminds me of German S-Bahns. :}

I couldn't find a through station big enough for the region I'm building. Then I realised I had a convention center that was an overhang lot. I combined three of those with a museum and a bunch of small stations on the line

station2.jpg

I just wish I could get rid of the brown rail texture near the station entrance. I have PEGs rail mod but doesn't help, I have another thread about this in the general section

Very creative, sachizm! I've always been a fan of using BATs in new ways. Great surroundings as well.

I'll toss in a little contribution myself before I run to work: A freight terminal in Hassel.

As usual for you: No frills, 100% realism, and still pleasing to the eye. :) I like it!

You should use Rivit's Rail Upgrade Mod; it includes an option to get rid of the brown Maxis underlay texture.

Got it. Maybe I shouldn't have them both installed. I'm quite sure I've uninstalled and retried them in different combinations without shaking the problem. I'll try again. I think I check the 'mossy underlay' option. I'll have another play with it all.

Very stylish everyone !

Here are 4 pictures from Aurenrich, the capital city of Schimcaloreoog.

2 pictures of the station Schloss Schimmack (translate: Castle Schimmack). It's called that because the station is located near the Schloss Schimmack, but this castle isn't in these pictures here.

That's quite pretty, GamermanGT5! Good custom lots making some nice stations.

You might want to add some pillars or structure to carry the platforms on the central station. Though as you said it's not finished yet. :)

@ raynev1: that was not necessary to quote the entire message with full picture, massage which is just one post above yours.

I better post this here, since it's rail-related:

A rail interchange next to Madisonville International Airport. Local trains use the elevated tracks while express(High-speed) trains use the ground-level tracks:

EDIT:

I wanted to add something but didn't want to bump this thread.

The Transit Center at Madisonville Int'l Airport, where you can connect to trains, ferry, or intra-airport transportation:

Station_zpsa1118833.png

Hi guys, I've been hovering around this page for a while but haven't posted (tbh I had nothing of note to show anyway). I recently got back into the game and have started using mods like the NAM etc. rather than using the maxis stuff. The above is one of my new creations which I'm pretty proud of, so I thought I'd share :)

While I'm here, as you can see on the bottom of the picture there are some cliffs where the embankment rises. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some brick retaining walls which would fit there? Thanks :)

Spoderman, pls.

Thank you for the kind words guys, and the links :) Looking at my screenshot again, I've just noticed how many little errors there are on it haha

Around the various SC4 mod sites there are several plops of this nature e.g.
