Some very nice regions in this thread, which give me a lot of ideas.

I suppose most of you have seen my biggest region, Nexis of Genesis in my CJ, and I think I have shown it here also somewhere. Here's another one from me. Again like NoG, this is entirely handterraformed. It is a 4x4 medium tiled region called Jaybound. It has a population of  700,000+.

Love the region shots guys. Looks like a lot of time and effort has been spent working on these!

Here's my current region, the province of Sereten. I posted this same region on page 3, if you are at all interested in how much has been developed since.

Click the picture for a larger size. (2400 x 1211)

This region took me forever to build up the surrounding cities. I recently started work on the capital city (large map) and it currently has 400k. I'm hoping that the pop. will exceed 1mil for that large map.

Here are some screenshots of the region:

Nice work there! It looks like that region was made very maxis-oriented (I am working on one similar to yours).

that's a sweet region, flyingmantang, but you definitely need to resize your pictures to 800x600 before they're deleted by a mod. The easy way to do it is to edit your post, right click on the pics and select image properties, then type 800 in the width box and the 600 will fill itself in. Then hit ok, and your pics will be sized correctly.

Here are a couple of mine

Here is the whole urban area of a city I made a year ago called Annick. The first shows the aerial view and the second shows the district areas of the city with transport routes:

Wow, these region views are ridiculously awesome! All that's going through my mind (besides "omg!") are thoughts like "wow, I suck at this game"... Great job on your regions guys!

Thanks! Yeah, all the region shots are really cool. Mine's just the generic layout.

City2TheMax: haha i might have over did it with the airports.

football_forever: Wow! I really like the Island of Saraceno and Crystal City. I would like to try something like that once I am done with my Caprica.

Mike the Mayor: Nice shots! I would like to see some close ups of the downtown core to get some ideas 3.gif

Mr_Pooter: No worries. I messed up 5 regions before finally getting it right. The more you play, the better you get. 2.gif

Never been to New York myself, but wouldn't mind going some time. Mostly Maxis content in the game, but there are a few downloaded buildings, especially train stations. Used the super demand mod for some maps as I don't have very much time to play the game.
