Alright, I've got the next Moon River update ready, and I have to say that Montauk Downs is no longer my favourite. If there is another MCFCC, Moon River will be my entry for sure. Anyways, update tomorrow morning, letting you all know.

I'm still shocked by the death of Elizabeth, how will life continue? I hope he get's over it and starts a new life.

CHAPTER 22-GOODBYE MONTAUK DOWNS?

Well, I paid another visit to my grandparents, and took some pictures while I was there. It was a good trip, but I made an important decision while I was there: I'm leaving the Floodplains. Too many bad memories. Here in Moon River, I can get a fresh start, which is exactly what I need.

Back on the subject of Moon River, the town has been officially amalgamated into the Metropolitan Thunder Bay area, so growth has shot up. The population is now just over 3200.


Moon River has many different central areas, usually with some shops and housing. For example, this area in the west side of town:


And here, near the Parker's family home:


And, in a newer neighbourhood off Highway 236(the Metro highway):


There are also stunningly beautiful suburban and nature areas in Moon River. This development of high/medium-wealth homes off of the Metro highway:


This area, near a church and many boutiques on the west side of town:


This peaceful pond, remarkably similar to the ones in Montauk Downs:


Another pond, this time on the south side of town, relatively new and undeveloped:


And, this hiking trail in the north side of town, also remarkably similar to Montauk Downs. This trail's near the mayor's office.


I even got a picture of the town at night. It's very quiet and serene, a perfect place to live.


So, Moon River and the surrounding area will be my new home from now on. My grandparents were overjoyed to hear the news, and I think that Jonah is training me to be his successor...

Very interesting update! I like those pictures. And yes, I'm a friend of SloppeT, and I have to say he was speaking about some of those City Journals here very often previously. An after the few updates I have to say once again he was right - Every update in this city journal is very interesting. How you say it here on Simtropolis, keep up the great work RadioheadFan!!

Guess what? I had an update all ready on the new town of Pawtucket, which was picture-perfect by the way, and was just exiting the game when BAM! the power goes out. Oh man, I could've killed somebody...3 hours of work down the drain...

OUCH dude, that stings, hope you can reconstruct it again.  Oh and btw, there is a fancy button on the bottomw of the screen, on the right hand side, it looks kinda like a floppy disk-try clicking it now and then....  I feel your pain dude, if you remember, I've had my share of desktop crashes while in SC4...

RHF - Wonderful updates and it is good to see that Steven is trying to get a fresh start.  I really like the differences between the trail areas and the developed areas.  They seem a world apart.

Yeah, I've had that happen to me.....losing valuable game time.....I have tried to get in the habit of saving everytime I do something I know I want to keep.....You just gotta hate though eh?

 

Anyway, great update my friend.

Despite the fact that I am a doctor, I cannot say what health problems SloppeT has.. I'll only say that his condition is not so good (you know what I mean...). So let's hope he will come back soon... Oh and getting back yto your interesting Cj, when will you post here some more pictures?
