All: Well, tonight in Airplane it's...BUILDING PROFILE MANIA!!!

That's right, plenty of building profiles for your enjoyment, all coming tonight, all NDEX, all skyscrapers! Well, except for one. You can expect some DuskTrooper, some Superstar, some kd5rax, it's going to be fun! These are the first NDEX buildings I've ever grown, so I'm really excited!

Here's a teaser shot, I think you'll enjoy it. Get ready for tonight, 7 or 8 BPs coming your way!

Looks like I see NDEX Juneau Bank II, AgEcho Tower, York Tower, SPH Tower, and Trillian Tower!

I'm guessing building profiles on all of them?

Wow! The first NDEX buildings you got to grow, thats quite a milestone. I could never get the Kaplanko To grow, nor the York Tower. Although I did grow about 75% of all other NDEX buildings...

KOSC: Wow, that was pretty bang on, you only missed one! Underneath all the skyscrapers, there's one of my favourite buildings from Superstar, the Grand Aqua Mall. BPs tonight as you might have expected!

And here you have it, building profile mania! Plenty of those skyscrapers I think we all enjoy, and possibly the most work I've ever done on an update! Here we go...

BUILDING PROFILE #6-IMAGESHACK CORP.

Architect: Parker Architecture
Constructed: 2006
Style: Miami/South Beach
Stories: 34
Height: 136 metres
Occupants: 600



The bustling ImageShack Corp. provides free image hosting to Internet users around the globe. Their new headquarters is a Miami-influenced design, 34 stories tall with 600 workers. There are also relaxation areas on the rooftops, complete with chairs and palm trees! ImageShack PR correspondent Marcus McVicar was quoted as saying, ImageShack is very proud of their new Piedmont headquarters, and they are banking on the continued growth of the city.

BUILDING PROFILE #7-BELL CANADA TOWER

Architect: Thom Yorke
Constructed: 2006
Style: Houston
Stories: 44
Height: 161 metres
Occupants: 2815



The new Bell Canada Tower is turning plenty of heads in Piedmont...A striking 44-story glass design by Thom Yorke, Bell Canada is very happy with their new Western HQ. Shawna Konopelky, official representative of Bell Canada, was sad to say that the company was unavailable for comment, but seems to be very pleased with Mr. Yorke's work.

BUILDING PROFILE #8-LANCASTER & YORK CONSULTING

Architect: Parker Architecture
Constructed: 2006
Style: Post-war New York
Stories: 73
Height: 323 metres(to spire)
Occupants: 8400



Lancaster & York is a giant consulting firm based in London that has slowly worked its way into Canada. Piedmont will be the base of operations for now, and for 6 or 7 months, this was the tallest building west of Toronto. Piedmont's skyline is beginning to rival Vancouver's. 8400 new jobs were provided by Lancaster & York through this tower, and a press release from the President of L & Y himself Darcy Lancaster reiterated the positive feedback.

All: Just to forewarn you, due to the copious amounts of NDEX skyscrapers in the building profiles I'm showing you, it might be hard to distinguish which building is the object of the building profile. For example, in the last BP from yesterday, it was the York Tower by kd5rax. In order to avoid confusion in the future, if it has a name provided by myself, I'll put the STEX-release name in the top text details. Thanks for all your great comments!

Talking about skyscraper forests... I like skyscrapers, but the way they are set up here I don't really like them. It's just my opinion, but I think the grid and lay-out are also an important part of the city feeling, and that's missing here. I mean, wall to wall medium to highrise looks better in my opinion than a bunch of towers on a huge parking spot.
As one of the ministers, I thought I had to let you know, and I also hope you can appreciate constructive criticism. Remind that I only criticize the way you build this city, the way of presentation of this CJ and all is pretty much perfect!

FS: I know what you mean, but I was pressed for time, really wanted to show you guys all the neat buildings I was able to grow! What I'll probably do is demolish all the buildings after the BPs are all done, then re-zone with low/mid-density commercial and residential. You actually pretty much have the same feelings I do. Thanks for your input. I'll be sure to show you what it will look like after I'm done re-zoning it all!

dhoppeii: Thanks! The building profiles were actually inspired by Riviera Island, where nedal2001 would tell the readers all about the buildings constructed recently all around the region. Thanks for your comment.

All: More BPs tonight, but first, as I mentioned to FS, destroying the commercial area! I'll probably cover it up with some disaster story or something...but expect the unexpected...

Sorry guys, impromptu basketball practice tonight that I just got home from. No BPs tonight. In fact, I'm not going to even set a date due to the fear of not meeting expectations. Hopefully, I'll be able to get them out soon enough, but RLS keeps piling it on lately. I'll answer your comments in the morning.

Nice BP's and downtown, but I must agree, they look out of place. And normally you only see that kind of downtown with a much higher population. Other than that, looks great!

FedexFlyer: I'm really sorry, this CJ is only interactive for the ministers whom I have chosen for their continued support of this CJ. Maybe if you become a consistent follower...who knows...

Fairlane: Yes, it does sound interesting, but I've changed my mind, lol. The new plan is to leave the skyscrapers there, just re-zone some of the surrounding land with mid- and low-density.

FS: You are right there, the big companies probably wouldn't like us, but they all have bigger international headquarters, with the exception of ImageShack, Bell Canada, and one soon-to-be-revealed company. Then again, that's why I changed the plan to leave the skyscrapers then make the transition less...harsh.

YAH: Yes, but I have to admit now, Piedmont was my guinea pig for the super-demand mod. Currently, I'm trying to level out population so that all the new NDEX jobs will be filled.
