Oh, i've checked this CJ before but never give a comment. Just watch the pics and that's all.
Now i dig the conception of this CJ.
Radioheadfan, i must say, i've really enjoyed reading it. 
The conception fits really great to the 'aerial only' SC4 graphic engine

What I see from up here is quite good,  nice Industrial sector well placed so it doesn't interfere with the agriculture. I also really like the extensive use of dirt roads in Newton.

And from up here I can see the famous Regional Administration Building, nice one!

Wonderful update RHF.  I am enjoying the story and this update on Moon River and the Grandparents.

 

I really like how you used Jeroni's tarmac set in the medium density res. area.  Looks great and that Library.  What a fantastic looking building. Fits like a glove in Moon River.

 

The Industrial area is also very nicely done.  Not too much and not too little from what I can tell.  Just right.

Piedmont is looking great, residential areas are well designed, good use of trees. Like the diagonal roads. And that rocky beach at the end is so peaceful!

All: Sorry, major RLS lately, haven't had time to play SC4. Next week, I have the provincial golf championships to play in, all 4 of my culminating projects are due,(they're worth 15% of my mark in each subject) I have the EQAO provincial math test, and my exams are only 2 weeks away. Plus, I had to re-adjust the storyline, so that took a while...Once again, I'm really sorry.

CHAPTER 26-UNCERTAINTY/SLASH AND BURN

Well, some disconcerting news has reached the family lately. Jonah has to go to Ottawa every year for checkups due to his arrythmia.(irregular heart beat) The doctor he sees is also an oncologist,(cancer specialist) and we all got very worried when the doctor called, saying, Jonah might have to stay for a little while longer. It looks's like something's been forming on his lungs. We're not sure what it is, we're going to keep him down here for a while and check it out.

My heart stopped as I heard the news. Did I have to lose everything? First Elizabeth, and now Jonah...all I'd have left was Grandma and Carlea. I'm not saying they're not worth anything, but Elizabeth was the love of my life, and Jonah was my mentor and best friend. Losing him would be tantamount to having my memory wiped, because he has taught me almost everything I know concerning how to conduct yourself as a human being.

Anyways, now I get money for making building profiles since companies buy them, so I'll show you 2 of the most recent ones I've done!

BUILDING PROFILE #15-USAKOS MISSIONARY

Architect: Moon River Design
Constructed: 2008
Style: Namibian/South African
Stories: 4 to top of spire
Height: 35 metres

The Usakos Missionary is a church near downtown Moon River inspired by a trip throughout Namibia and South Africa by Moon River Design chief architect Vlakhaas. It's a very stunning building, constructed mainly out of ebony wood, and it's a spectacular place to attend services on Sundays.

Also, I've been busy lately as Jonah made me mayor in his stead. He was working on a big new project, the subdivision of Whispering Hills, which isn't even officially connected to the actual city of Moon River. Here's what the area looked like before development.


And this shot, midway through development. Plans are to finally connect Whispering Hills to the city through an access road going northwest, and to build an industrial park south of the area. I'll keep you posted...

RHF - Great update my man.  I love the continuing story and today hit home pretty hard for me anyway.  Last year I lost my Grandfather, who was alot like Jonah is.  You summed up the way I felt/feel about him to this day.  Thank you for allowing me to reflect for a few moments.

The pics are great and your use of that tarmac set is still top notch.  I also really like the layout and feel of Whispering Hills.
