If I had the option I would definately like to live in Anwakee County. The serenity just grabs you and will not let go anymore. Also, the presentation by it Mayor ... the great Sloppet ... knows how to promote the County. A big hurrah to one of the best presented journals on the forum.

Nic.

Anwakee County, part of the SCJU? That's a surprise!

-Also, that building you couldn't figure out was made by prepo as an experiment with omni lights.

Wow. Anwakee County joining the SCJU? I'm not sure what to think.

Nice update by the way. Lovely first pic. The polaroid mosaic is definitely unique.

Really like the first pic - the building reminds me of a more experimental version of the Petronas Towers in malaysia, with the tubes connecting two buildings together.

The Polaroids are an interesting idea.

    Overall, great update.

"Mayor sloppet is great" I think this is propaganda! Typical sloppet...2.gif

I like the polaroids! Very authentic--even with the cofee stains!

Sloppet, your photos and notebook paper sets you apart from the CJ's, and thats a good thing! 4.gif Well, you update often, it never gets boring, it gets better each time, your mosaics are beautiful, and you are thankful for every person who comments... There are no suggestions from me! 3.gif But if I think of anything I'll come back and tell you.

This is excellent, Keep up the good work!

    -Ellie

    slop-

You know, Iowa or Poland?  Which is is it?

    Enquiring minds want to know.

My vote is on Iowa.  Cedar Rapids, even.  Your sensibilities are just too midwestern.

...I grew up there- I should know...

So you continue to be brilliant.  In about, say- November- you'll have more posts than Palm Point or Anduin Valley Revisited.

But what does it mean, man?  If you get a million air hugs, does it mean your CJ is really good?

I think it is.  But stop being so frantic.  A couple of days ago, it was the Google Map view.  Then it was inset maps (and yes, they are genius).  Now it's p'shopped Polaroid pics.  They're really neat, but light somewhere for a while, sloppet.  Do something well.  Develop it.  Share it with the community.  Reserve your brilliant ideas a bit for when things slow down- for when you need them.

And you will, sooner or later.  What happens when you CJ is on page 6 of the index and you don't have anything new and fresh to offer?  Pace yourself.  I want to be posting to (and enjoying) Anwakee County a year from now.  Care to make any bets?

Sorry to be the voice out of harmony.  Only because I enjoy this CJ so much would I take the time to say these things.

    David
