News Flash !!

 

 

The tie is broken.  Here is the final word.  Simguyuk straight up won the suburb 2 ballot so he is now the mayor of 2.   That leaves Leech10 in first place on for suburb 14.  Since crazyarchitect is now the only 12 so he's mayor of that suburb.

 

 

 

Election news !

 

There have been almost 120 votes as of this morning.  There have been 8 ballots.  We have had 19 people want to be mayor so far.

 

There have been ties.  There has only been one tie still after the poll closed.  There is a poll today.  Polls used to run 4 days.  They now run 2 days.  So make sure you cast your vote.  Your vote is important here.

Special Election Resoluts:

After having 19 mayors we had the mayors

nominate a Lieutenant Mayor[LM] and

Vice Mayor[VM]. There were 6 canidates for

LM.  There were 12 votes casted. ILLTonkso

had the most votes with 5. So our LM's name

is Daniel Tonks.  There were 6 canidates for

VM.  There were 11 votes casted. SC4Meister

had the most votes with 4. So our VM's name

is Moby.

 

First Mayoral Conference:

It was held in the Convention Center. Phathead

was there for 6 hours.  The max number of

people during that time was 4.

Sorry I haven't posted here in awhile been kind of busy.  I want to first send out special Thanks to the Following commentors.

You have been very helpful.   I also want to welcome back RHF.

Next I would like all other Committee mayors [you know who you are]  to pm when a day and time in October for our second mayoral conference [6month period]  and if you want it to be here as a special chat for us only or at my msngroup's chat room.   I would like to hear from no later then say Sep. 20th.  

Now if you were not one of the orignal mayors please let me know If you got or would like your mayor certificate.  [any question pm me].

 

Well I quess that's it for now.  after the next mayor conference there will be a new edition of The Committee Chronicles.

This is very interesting thread, Phat! Sorry I didn't become more involved here, friend.

With doing so many other things, it would have been hard for me to work on a city for this. I will however, come around and read, view, comment a bit, if that is okay.

 

I love the look of Sloppets forum too! It has all the good features needed for a fun Forum. Let's make that site grow.

First  the people who won their suburb may build their city the way they want.      

 

Committee has a new area  Home   This link is to Sloppet's Polish/English site  there is a group of forms near the bottom of the main form.  So if your a mayor in committee and you want to be part of the fun and action please click on the link and join the site.  There will be many things there for mayors to look at and comment on.  

 

As far as still alive goes that is still up in the air.   I can't say if it is or not.  I know this is a slow time here at ST so that might be part of it.   

 

I would like to thank everyone who joined committee then for some reason had to drop out.   My deepest hopes and prayers go to you.

 

Ps.  If your a mayor of one of the cities in committee please let me know if you want to have a chat next month which will be our 6th month ann.      I would like to do something next month.  If anything post another issue of the Chronicle.         Thanks also for all those who have left comments you are a big help to.
