I'm posting this region to see how Cycledog's terrains look in the game. Let me know what you think.

Is that the new painted desert terrain?  That's a great looking city you've got there.

i think you can make a better judge if you post pics of the desert mod closer taken ... i'm thinking you really want to show your big city .. .what  ofcourse is a good thing 4.gif but i would advise to take some closer pics

the mod is brilliant indeed, i'm already using 'm too

The download clip already had a close up. I wanted to give a more panoramic view. My threads have plenty of "big cities" for folks to look at. That was not the purpose here. Good luck with your region.

heh. I just downloaded the Painted Desert one too. Cycledogg is the undisputed terrain master. I cant wait to see some using the Olympi and Missouri Breaks terrain

Just curious, isnt there a program that lets you control what plugins load for different cities? Could you set up a system that would let you have different regions with different terrains?

Yeah, I think it's called the SimCity4 Startup Manager or something like that. I read about it yesterday, but I don't remember where. Sorry...

I think the terrain might be a little too dark, but it still looks good. Please, continue!

Here is a portion of my Crystal Bay region with the Olympia mod: I will most likely stay with the rock mod I was already using though.

Wow it looks great! I love the desert theme; a lot like your other desert CJ only more red. Love it.

This is San Juan with the Missouri Breaks mod. It changes the look but is still a nice looking terrain. Not a desert but a nice looking terrain.

Personally, I don't think the CD desert mod looks that good vs. the building style I use. 3.gif

It's too red for my tastes, I'd prefer something more sandy. But it looks good in your city.

I think the desert one was fitting a bit more in there. If it has to be green I think it should be more green, not so fade colour.

The Missouri Breaks Mod actually doesn't look that bad. Will you be testing all of those land modifying mods? If so, I can't wait for more!

I have been considering this as a cj and was wondering which theme you all preferred: Painted Desert or Missouri Breaks. My preference is towards a desert theme.

    A. Painted Desert

    B. MIssouri Breaks

    Thanks
