Just some small fires; simple stuff.  Putting my Fire Service to the test.  I'm hoping to get some good fires soon.

Engine 8, Engine 3, Brush 4, and Rescue 5 on the scene of a building fire.  Truck 9 and Engine 10 are en route.

Truck 1 and Brush 2 on the scene of a house fire, PD is en route.  Right after this, I dispatched Engine 7 to the scene to assist.

This is from the Great Fire of 1899 (December 31)

It was extinguished as the clock struck midnight.

The firefighters didn't count on the lightning though...

And the Great Fire of 1900 (January 1) began

The city of Inner Harbor outside of Boston has grown by leaps and trips. Recently the local populace took to the streets in an effort to vent their displeasure at the local mayor (who shall remain nameless...the putz!). Rolling numerous vehicles and igniting several fires, the mayor had to put down his ice tea and put in a collect call from CapeCod to the deputy mayor in Boston and grant approval for riot police. The crowd was dispersed and the incident recorded for the next show of Worlds Wildest Police Videos so Steve Burnell can crack more bad commentary.....

One night, lightning struck dry timber above the road and starting a fire.

Quickly, winds blew the fire in all directions, which threatened the town.

But then, the wind suddenly changed to southernly direction, and the flames started burning town buildings. All the residents were roused from the beds and ordered to evacuate...

Well, that's my humble addition. The hardest part was merging two pictures, one with the blue building, and one without, so I could get the stuff behind it to fit into this one.

@SimCoug: The smoke really pushes the severity of the shot. Makes me want to install photoshop again just to add a bit more to my images before posting to the forum.

Since I've been playing around with a mod that increases fires, here's some results. As you can see the fighters were dispatched, but unfortunately they're unable to reach the blaze, even with an increased radius.
