The export of tower 2 has been running for.....crap 36 hours!!  And it's only done with 2 views in zoom 4.  Hopefully the export will be done sometime today then I can get back to finalizing the lots.  If I can get everything done today (probably won't happen with the export taking this long), I'll have a beta test done by Friday with release sometime after that.  I think I can pretty much guarantee the release will be before the start of next week.

Ok well I can still say that it will be out by next week but It won't be friday or saturday as I had hoped.  A Bat error has caused one of the towers to be lacking a few materials so I have to export yet again though I only have to do one of the towers.  It should be done by tomorrow morning.

 

If you look at the image a posted a couple of days ago, you'll notice that the top observation deck is darker than it should be.

rubik i sure dont mind waiting a couple of extra days. i mean how long have we waited for this? so a few days doesnt make much difference.

I've just looked at all your posts from start to finish Rubik, and as with my avatar you can tell that I'm a fan of the World Trade Center, In fact I'm a New Yorker!. Rubik, You've put in so much effort in to this and i'm glad, this is the best building in the game yet aside from ed_diaz's Sears Tower. There will be 2 versions.  One with jobs and the other without, but they will both have the subway and the same effects as a landmark.

Now the big question.  Would you rather have 2 seperate downloads of 5-6 meg, or would you rather download one large file at 10-11 meg (assuming Dirk's servers can handle an upload of that size)?

I have to say it... BEAUTIFUL.  These buildings are definately a labor of love, and it shows.  These will be gracing the skylines of my cities as soon as they are available.

I'm not sure, but I think it is called one-sextrillion. I know sextrillion is 1 and 40-something zeros, and there are alot based on sextrillion after that. It basically is one trillion, six times over itself. Or, 1,000,000,000,000,000x1,000,000,000,000,000.
