The background on the query is worthy of praise all by itself.

Rubik3 you've really accomplished something special the likes of which I think will not ever be topped.

The broadband users have spoken and the dialups are still trying to press submit on their request for 2 files.  So unless I fry Dirk's servers by uploading a 10 meg file you should see it in the BEX in the next half hour.

Rubik the building is one thing, but taking over the sidebar??????<ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/4.gif> Holy cow, I don't think anyone else will be able to do that.

Seriously, EXCELLENT JOB I could wax ecstatic with generic cliches all day long about how good this it. I won't though. The custom query is simple beautiful and adds to the buldings.

(by the way, they are friggin enormous)

Um, rating, uh, how about- off the f*****g charts.

    Damn good job.

The Great Chozo (is very jealous <ahttps://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/images/smilies/2.gif>)

    EDIT---

[ Wow I sent this bad boy to 11 pages. Go me!. ]

rubik, you've done an amazing job. Simply amazing. I couldn't get those towers plopped fast enough. 2.gif

They look wonderful in-game, and I was reminded for the first time in a while just how tall they were in real life. Thanks again for your hard work. It shows, and it has paid off in dividends.

    Congratulations!

Here's an overview of the site for all those that are interested.

I'm probably going to take a week off from Batting, but after that I'll be working on getting the rest of the complex complete.

The sunny Bahamas would definately be a nice change from the rainy Portland scene.  But since the weather here sucks right now I have little to do other than sit on my butt all day long.  And I figured since I was sitting on my butt I might as well get some work done.  In about 6 hours I've gotten the basic shells done for three-seven.  The smaller buildings are fairly basic but I need some better shots of the Marriot.  I missing shots of the back side gap in between tower 2, and shots of the roof.  Also some detailed shots of the entry overhang would be nice.

Here is a picture showing the very small gap between the Marriott and One World Trade.

I'll keep looking for a picture showing the left side.
