Jeezel pete that looks awesome! How big is that anyway, 48km? That's the size I chose for my Columbus region but I don't quite have enough RAM (yet) to handle a region that size.

yup, its about 44km actually :) Its based on the region just east of my 'cape newenham' map in Alaska. Those lakes don't exist in the real world, but they look great in-game!

"Dead sexy" and "dude" in the same sentence.... hehe... *Ahem* I mean, OH OK I was thinking you did that from scratch, but it still looks great even if you started from an elevation data set.

That is hell to render - it took my computer an hour to render the entire region... and it slowed my computer down so much I had to delete it. Maybe you could make a smaller one?

Yeah this thing was a BEAST to upload into a region. Took my super fast computer an hour to do so. The region is so slow too so I decided to keep the two cities I made on the region and move em into a smaller region. Hehe. VERY nice though.

I think I have finally found a Map for my region! With my 4.4GHz CPU 2 GBs ram and 2 7800GTX (512MBs Video Ram) I think I can do this map justice:D
