what are the bitmaps used for? Original Sim City? rrrobb@ucdavis.edu Was this made using the terrain generator? If so it's probable decently accurate.

config.bmp's are used for dividing up the region into different cities. If you don't use the .bmp, then you'll have the same sized cities throughout, not divided up like shown on the right side.

I downloaded this region from someone else's website, so I did not create it.

I posted it because I was requested to. Since there was no copywright on the website that I downloaded it from I don't morally feel like I shouldn't distribute it. FYI the designers are Forkboy2/J W Hillin.

I'm JW Hillin, and if I remember the map was Forkboy's, but the config was mine. Regardless, enjoy!

Which region did you use for the San Francisco v2.0? Your whole region looks impressive (especially the accuracy of the terrain) and that's the region I want to use for my version of the area. If you could tell me where to get it, I'd really appreciate it.
