Rintamamiestalo Set

This upgraded version now includes set of 4 different buildings and 2 lots for each of them. Now there is also a custom made foundation. You may delete files of earlier version (The light yellow Rintamamiestalo, this set includes also upgraded version of that one).

Growable R$$, 12 residents, 1x3 size lots, groth stages 1 and 2.

 

Rintamamiestalo (can be translated as "Ex-service-man House or Frontline-man House") is an example of post-war architecture in Finland. Construction drawings were made by famous architects like Alvar Aalto, and war veterans built these houses mostly for themselves. Lots were usually large, because people used to grow their own vegetables at backyard.

Rintamamiestalos are still very common in Finnish towns and suburbs.

Lovely! Fantastic contribution! I've waited for more Scandinavian architecture and these really look swedish if you don't mind. I'm sure it's the same concept over at your side of the Baltic. I swedish we would call these houses "egna-hem".

Nice, but could you please add fences around the houses beacause I have the backfences mod (or whatever it's called) so it would be nice if these had fences. Anyway these houses look great it's always good to have variety. 10\10
