About This File

Listed under Parks but this baby isn't your average park. It activly cleans the air around it very well for a rather nice radius. It also looks cool.

Not gamebreakingly powerful in terms of how much air it cleans, especially around high-volume avenues or in cities filled with polluting industry, but it does its job very well under most other circumstances. This is probably one of the first useful plug-ins that I've downloaded from Simtropolis. It looks good, does its job well, and helps to alleviate an otherwise costly problem in any city. It also requires no dependencies, so even vanilla users can plop it.<br>

I like this. I put it two to start, and it doesn't strike me as too powerful in terms of reducing pollution. However, it acts like a super park in terms of desirability and instantly seems to transform local demand for areas in decline (especially with abandoned buildings). My biggest beef is that the item is too cheap. I think it should cost at least $350-$500 a month. How do I change this?

Okay, I figured it out! Sorry I am new to mods and still researching a lot of this :). This is by far my favorite mod yet. It's beautifully designed and animated and serves a purpose in the game that isn't filled by anything else. What I did do was make it a bit more painful to own and purchase. After some testing, I've found that I prefer this costs about $50,000 to build and around $500 a month to maintain. This makes it a difficult thing to own/purchase early in the game (if not impossible) and it requires some budgeting if you want to scatter them about your city and repair the street pollution problem and increase your desirability. Highly recommend those changes!

Isn't taxes high enough. Now we have to pay for air!!! No wonder the sim economy is so bad right now...

i have a question
are these things really considered as parks?
does that mean i dont need like a plaza or park right next to them right?

Wow, definitely needed for clearing the air around my residential zone, especially with my power plant being close by. Awesome creation!!

An idea, for all of the hax complaints -- make it require lots of high tech industry (20000 in region or so?) before it can be plopped. That way, you can keep the price low enough to be usable, while preventing instantaneous transmutations.

I have absolutely no idea on how to use mods on Sim City 4. I downloaded it and it appeared on my download folder, but from them I'm lost. I am running Windows vista if this information is useful. Help would be appreciated.!

first of all thank you, this Lot It just work fine for me as well my all plugs I did download from simtroplis, but lately I notice that my cities hang-on for a bit of second when I zoom-in / zoom-out the city.

I did move all plugins to my desktop, then i try them one by one, and hanging-on disappear until I try "Air Purification Plant" again.

My pc is "core duo" 1GB graphics 2GB RAM, so it's anormal to hang-on by simcity4, it's your Lot that have this problem.

I like this Lot very mutch, and as I said befire it work just fine, but this hanging-on it just pest me off.

thank you again, and I hope that you will correct this problem.

I used it a lot a few years ago when I played SC 4 on my last computer. I loved using the APP, it was incredibly useful and I have finally found it once again! :D

This mod works well but we must build some of this to reduce air pollution, just like the water treatment plant

This was working for me until I did a recent update (all the PEG, BSC, and other major dependency packs, et cetera). Now, it only seems like the first one of these that is placed works and subsequent plants have no effect. I tried moving this lot into the very last folder to load but that didn't fix the issue.
