About This File

The Colosseum; one of the most remarkable landmarks of an old empire that still has great influences in modern day society. The Romans invented concrete among other things, and that's exactly what they used to erect this enormous structure. The Colosseum is one of those few buildings that has survived for about 1900 years. Though due to the fact that the Romans once used the Colosseum as a quarry to get stones for new houses in their growing city (and the popes used stones from the Colosseum to erect churches), the Colosseum looks a bit ruined today. Yet still, thousands and thousands of visitors come to this landmark every year to admire this great landmark.

And now, your Sims can too! Remind them of the times when SimGladiators fought bravely for their lives and when SimSlaves were fed to the hungry lions. They might even learn a thing or two about history while taking pictures and buying souvenirs.

I already got this off of the SCC site, but i just wanted to say how great i think this building is, you've captured the essence of the landmark. This is an essential lot for any historic centre.

All I can say is Oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The difficulty in making this compared to a "normal" building is extraordinary. The detail and results truly are an 11/10!
