About This File

The Turning Torso is a skyscraper in Malmö, Sweden, located on the Swedish side of the Öresund strait. It was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and officially opened on 27 August 2005. The tower reaches a height of 190 metres (623 feet). Upon completion, it was the tallest building in Scandinavia, the tallest residential building in the EU and the second tallest residential building in Europe.

I don't know, but I like the building. Regards.

Thanks for liking the building. I probably should have added props at the bottom- I didn't know which props were the base game ones or custom ones...

When making lots remove all other files from the plugins folder & then add what you want to your lot.
That way you will be using only the games props. You can also leave any prop packs in the plugins folder
you want to use just make sure you note the place where you downloaded it for the dependency list.

Any aesthetic issues aside, a couple of (semi-) technical points:
1.  You were quite proper to credit Alsomar for creation of the original Sketchup model, but there is nothing gained by including the original .skp file with your download as it cannot be read by SC4.
2.  Maybe more of a semantics or terminology issue, but the CO$$$8 lot is more properly a Growable than a Ploppable as the title of the folder in which this lot and building are placed, might suggest.  For future reference, if you want to include both LM and growable lots in the same download, you could name the folder with the growable version as either CO$$$ or just "Grow" and almost everyone will understand what you're talking about.
3.  Custom props/textures vs. props/textures included with game:  Not sure which Lot Editor you are using (i.e. the Maxis one or the one included with Pim-X).  Not familiar with what information the Maxis Lot Editor gives you when choosing props/textures as I don't use it.  When using the Pim-X Lot Editor, when browsing the available props/textures, if you hover the cursor over a given prop/texture, it will tell you which file that prop or texture comes from.  If it says anything different than simcity_1.dat (props) or simcity_2.dat (textures), then it is custom content.
