**There is a lighting issue on the tops of the firetrucks at night. Some body panels will light up with sirens, then get extremely dark. I have run lots of tests and have not come to any specific conclusion as to why this is happening. I've also noticed the same issues on the default SimCity firetrucks. The white fire truck seems mostly immune to these issues, which is strange. My theory is an issue with the flashing lights being too low on the truck, interfering with the roof geometry and causing major shadowing. I have a few ideas I would like to try, but they will have to wait until offline mode is released. Until then, I apologize for the issues. I will continue looking for a solution in the meantime!**

Another big request I got from you guys was a new firetruck. This should add some extra flair to your fire services. If you notice any problems, please report them in the comments and I will look at the issues as soon as possible. Be looking for more mods like this very soon! Thanks for your support. Happy modding  :)

How can I install this in MAC? Where can I find this ".\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityData\ folder" in mac?

As far as I know, this is the location for the SimCityData folder on a Mac. This may require you to right-click, and "Open Package Contents" in order to view. I can't test as I do not have SimCity installed on my Mac:

Applications/SimCity/Contents/Resources/SimCityData

Good luck! Let me know if you have any issues :)

heh nice work, here is one for the station:

Hey DrWatson,

One truck at a time. When the ladder truck is finished, I will release it as a separate mod and will start on a truck similar to this. I really like these, but I only know of them used in airports. Any info on residential use of these style trucks? Thanks!

Parker

You could put these for the Hazmat unit. These trucks are too big and bulky for residential fires, however, they have /a lot/ of foam and can be found on contingency plans for industrial fires if they are around, though are called on a "Only call if you're in /really/ deep fire".

Other uses for these trucks is in offroad fire fighting, as used listings for these specialized vehicles advertise their great ability to go on rough terrain. The vehicles are designed to be able to drive any direction at a 30 degree angle, including sideways (I mean, driving laterally on a hill) and the current trucks have independent suspense and an articulated body that makes going up a hill like driving over a minor speed bump.

A totally awesome ARFF Airport Crash Truck video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yCEaFhSdo88

I tried to find another video where a crash truck had responded to an industrial fire, but after an hour of searching Ic an't seem to find it. sad day.

Thanks Parker for all the awesome vehicle mods, I have downloaded them all and they look great. But can we get a Canadian emergency service vehicle pack (Ambulance, Fire, and Police) as there are so many variations please :)  Examples of fire trucks below:
