The Samerton- Ecobaville Metropolitan area covers the western tip of simcontinent right. It was founded 1845 by France and used as a fur trading post for well over 30 years. In the early 1900's citizens from other countries flocked to the mountains in the west hoping to find gold but to no avail. many of those people stayed because of the Samerton-ecobaville favorable climate patterns and because of its booming coal industry at that time
The Samerton side of the map ( the left side of the map) occupies a mountainous/ foot hills region which features wind eroded valleys and plateaus. The Ecobaville side of the map (the right and northern side of the map) is completely flat with the exception of a large river and its tributary.
