From Olympic highs to deepest abyss of a civil war in less than 10 years. My dear SC4 colleagues, allow me to introduce you another region from the Balkan peninsula a.k.a. "dark spot of Europe", "The cradle of European civilization" etc. The capital of Bosnia and Hercegovina, Sarajevo.
Sarajevo was founded in 1450. in a fertile valley of the Miljacka river and near a source of the Bosna river. It surroundings lie under Jahorina, Treskavica, Bjelašnica ( all over 2000 meters ), Igman, Romanija and Trebević mountains. Parts of the last four are depicted in this region.
"In 1885 Sarajevo was the first city in Europe and the second city in the world to have a full-time electric tram network running through the city, the first being San Francisco, California"
The assassination which triggered WWI happened here on June, 28th 1914.
It was also a hometown of director Emir Kusturica, musician Goran Bregović, basketball player Predrag Saša Danilović etc.
Today it is a divided city. 
Region is accurate, 450-2030 meters high, 7x7 huge tiles ( about 28x28 kms2 ). Many many thanks for supporting and advices to Mr Nichter85 and Mr Drunkapple.
