Unfortunately, if you place these on a high rise or heavy industrial building, you may not generate as much as you need.

So these are 3ds models that we would import into our own models but how then do we get them to produce power in the game, isn't that handled by making the lot a powered lot and can't it be done with any lot without the adding this extra roof junk to our own models?

so you could just plop it on any house?

If you don't add the extra "junk" to your building then how is it producing electricity - magic?  It saves somebody having to make the model themselves.  Useful for builders, not much use to ploppers like you.
