It is a great and worthwhile project, but it really does need more than a flat color to come to live...

Actually that's a really nice idea! You might need to work a little more on texturing though.Open a thread, i'm sure you'll get a lot of help on that. After all it's always a good thing to make something good even better, don't you think ;) ?

I agree about the textures, and some more night lights would be good on those other buildings too. Great idea, looking forward to seeing it improved!

I like this a lot but you need to change the textures, it looks too flat. 4/5 because of the great idea and bats you've made there and I've put 4/5 not 5/5 because your textures were flat. You could open up a LOT thread to hear some advise and get more ideas on how to make buildings, this is very good for your first LOT, you should have a 3.98 up there or a 4.03

Exactly the pieces that were missing to complete the palace. Thanx a lot!!!! Even though the other guys good be right about the texture, I don't care. Had been waiting for the walls in original color and the corridor for ages. 6/5

As has been said, it looks flat and toyish because of the texture. Very ambitious idea though. I hope this sees some more work, because I am very interested.

@Thianz: NO, you are quite wrong. While the color may be correct, the paint job was done upon a surface that I highly doubt was so FLAT. That is the texture problem, that the building looks like it was plated with some sort of flat plastic, when obviously the original was not. The texture itself needs a physical sense, a gradient in the color to make it look like it is bright paint upon a real surface.

Wow! I love the orange. And the flatness almost gives it an aged effect. Very nice!

Needs texture, right now it doesn't look old, and too plain. Right now 5/5, with textures 5/5. Nice first upload.
