About This File

I made this roadside billboard lot for my rural areas. They are common in much of the United States.

It has a commercial effect of 15/50 (from the advertising) and a small residential effect of 1/1 (bushes / trees).

Advertisers pay $ 50 / month to the city to use this billboard so it is good for mayors that want a little economic boost. This is my first lot so be kind.

If this lot is received well I

Great Idea. Some variety would be cool. Can't vote cause the voting box doesn't come up. I'll give it a 8 for now and see if you come up with any more. Randomizing a few different signs would be way way cool. :-)

Agreed. Randomizing the billboards would be great. Tsang, that name's familar from "evil" forum days ago. Aren't you the Asian sounding name that happens to be Amish?

cool..but yes, make it a random billboard and it would be perfect. I am very interested so either make up a variety of say 10 billboards or have this one be random and it would be all set! :)

Randomizing the signs would be nice, but its beyond my meager editing skills atm. Hehe it took me hours just to figure out changing the names and the monthly income. If I get a decent amount of downloads I

I think it would be more realistic if it had a slightly negative effect on residential. I know around here (in New Jersey) where billboards abound that there are often folks fighting to ban billboards near their homes. I do like the lot though - tHANKS FOR A GREAT LOT.

It's easy to make the billboards randomize. Next time you're gonna add a prop, instead of "Add Prop", go to "Add Family", right below it, and find the family with all the signs in it. Great lot, too. What prop did you use for the base poles?

Chrono - wow that is easy. I think I'll make that today :) The base poles are "burnt stumps." I would like to make an elevated highway version, So If anyone has any ideas on how to make suitably long poles I would love to hear them. Thanks for your ratings / comments :)
