About This File

Here is another fantasy region. In the downloaded folder, you will find the same region in two different sizes - 4x5 large cities and 6x7 large cities. You pick the one that is right for you!

The map was based on USGS data of Georgia/Florida border in the USA. I hand-terraformed and altered the river system heavily and rotated the map too. This is a good river/sea region and there should be many options for different types of development.

The Sizes:

Quitman6x7 is 1537 x 1793, 6 x 7 large city tiles, 24km x 28km (roughly).

Quitman4x5 is 1025 x 1281, 4 x 5 large city tiles, 16km x 20km (roughly).

The Download:

The download is a folder containing two subfolders - Quitman6x7, and Qutman4x5. Each of these folders corresponds to the sizes described above. In each folder, you will find a screenshot for that particular size, a .sc4m file, and a config bitmap (the configs for these regions are optimized for bridges, but feel free to make your own if you know how). Look at the screenshots to determine which size you want, then follow the directions below for getting the map into the game!

Dependencies:

You must have either SC4Mapper or SC4TerraFormer.

The screenshot shows the map rendered with cycledogg's Missouri Breaks Terrain Mod with that terrain pack's default water file, of course, that terrain mod is not necessary to play the map.

In SC4Mapper:

1. Open SC4Mapper

2. Click "Create Region"

3. Click "SC4M"

4. Locate and select the file you downloaded (Quitman4x5.sc4m, or Quitman6x7.sc4m)

6. Name it whatever you would like.

7. Quit SC4Mapper

8. Launch SimCity4

9. Load the region you just created in SC4Mapper.

10. Play. (Don't be alarmed by the colors; when each tile is opened, the colors will change to your normal ones.)
