Map Details and Information

Whitefall is a fantasy map based off a section of coastline in Australia. It has been edited heavily, though the coastline remains similar to the original. The map is playable with pleasantly rolling hills and wide open spaces.

Map Specifics

Map Type: Fantasy

Region map size: The map is 6x7 large tiles, with a row of 12 medium tiles at the bottom.

config.bmp size: Included in SC4M file. 24x30.

Dependencies: Either SC4 Mapper or SC4 Terraformer for importing into the game.

Missouri Breaks Terrain Mod was used in the rendering of this map, but you can choose any terrain mod to suit your preferences.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

To install SC4M map file:

1. If you don't already have SC4Mapper, download it here and follow the install instructions.
2. Unzip this file.
3. Run SC4Mapper, click on 'create region'
4. Choose SC4M
5. Browse to the unzipped folder and point the map file .SC4M
6. Click on 'Save Region' and name it, and Quit SC4Mapper
7. Run SC4 and load the new region. The colors of the region in SC4 will be the same colors as SC4Mapper until you enter and save each city tile. But you have the choice to do it as you go and not right away.

SC4 Terraformer is available here:

Very, VERY nice. So many possibilities for so many different kinds of cities. This is a really good region.

Absolutely stunning! This region has so many possibilities for different types of development that they're too numerous to list here. Nice work SA!

One heck of another nice map, another one I downloaded. Just love the lakes and rivers near the sea. Seems to be enough flatlands to build some nice cities and maybe even good enough for a CJ. Great (again) and I don't usually comment on maps..............

I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!! I literally jumped for joy when I saw this map! I have been searching for a new map with a lot of interesting water ways and HUGE tiles so I could build a massive new city with the new CAM addon. I have finally found it! This could keep me busy for years! :) Thank you so much for your contributions...it's maps like this that make SimCity so great and this community so amazing! 10/10 and 2 thumbs up. I'm already playing on it!

Actually, I used the water mod that came with Cycledogg's Missouri Breaks terrain mod. PEG's Brigantine is similar, but it's a darker blue, whereas the MB watermod is a more muddy and marshy colour.

Hi! My first comment in this website! You really have some special talent making maps. It's really amazing! I've got only one problem now ... I have no idea where to put my downtown, all the places near the lakes and the sea seems just perfect! Congratulations for the work!!!

Oh man, I DROOLED when I saw this region--but alas when I unzipped SC4Mapper it didn't work. <:-( ...is there no greyscale for Landscape Designer, etc.?

SamJam: there isn't a greyscale version, simply because the SC4M version does all you need. All who have been having a problem with SC4TF importation of this map: Use SC4Mapper, unless you create your own config.bmp. Apologies for the confusion.

(1/2) I tried downloading SC4M to build the region but it doesn't work. All I see is the 'New Horizon' logo and then nothingness. 2 of my more "computer saavy" friends tried on their own computers and it won't work for them either...
