Zelda Brick Wall Poster 1.0

Very interesting concept! How difficult would it be to change the pictures to sporting events, concerts, product advertisements,etc... ? It would be amazing if you could put a picture in a file in your plugins folder and advertise/promote anything! Then change it when ever you wanted. The circus, Simolympics, new zoo, amusement park opening, oh, the possibilities! Changeable billboards. Great work!

If you want i can give them a transparent base texture.....still, great lots, and a wonderful idea!

The texture is very easy to do, I simply took a picture and made it the textyure in gMax to a rectangular solid. Frankie, the transparent base textures would be cool, I hate having them eat up the space in the city, even though it is only 2 tiles, and I normally stick them in places inaccessible by road. You can PM me the lots after you update them. If you guys think of anything that would be cool as a billboard idea, you may also PM me that. Thanks for the ideas.

By the way, (as I now remember), plug, I do not personally know a way to do what you have asked with the pictures. If anyone on Simtropolis knows how this could be done, please send me aPM or post a comment here explaining how to do this, because this would extremely simplify the process of creating new billboards. Also, it would be necessary to be able to have multiple pictures in the folder for the billboards to use, so as to be more realistic. Thanks!

Ok, let's try this AGAIN... I will accept billboard requests, but I ask that no absurd or weird requests are made, and that a picture or link to picture is sent, to make the process faster. Also, i will release requests in weekly packages, and any general updates to the generic billboard mod will be implemented on requests done after the updates are made. Frankie_Grove, yes i would LOVE the transparent bases, sorry for getting your user name wrong in the previous post.

Okay, no billboard ever shows up in my game - just grass and trees. It seems cool, but it doesn't work right for me.

I have the same problem as skram and MajMayhem.
