This is a nice map but maybe you could have had some pretty tall hills in the north east

It's a nice map when it comes to waterways. It definitly needs work on the mountains. These need to be more smooth. With which program have you created this? If it is with SCRACC I can help you out a little. I won't rate this for now, I will if you update it to a better version.

I use paint.... I draw them in paint.. lmao

SCRACC is not th best to make maps, though paint can be good. I make my maps in paint and tweak them in Microsoft Office Photo Editor, which works very well. As for this map, it's ok. Great job on the coastlines, but as sim_jesse said, the mountains could use some practice.

The coastline is very pleasant, great job on that So no for some critics: Add smooth hills, and mountains. You should also raise the land a little or nobody can put a sunken transportation. Really good start ! Also try to find a good layout for the config.bmp, I know everyone can change it, but having a good starting base is better :)

This is an excellent first map 8/10. You will get better hills in time draw sorta like a contour map and you would be great

do you need a height file for this to work because when i render it it is all messed up... i do still give you good props on your fisrt one. i would love it if i could get it to come out like above

No, Not that I know of. When rendering a map, make sure your game doesn't exit out of itself and/ or your computer doesn't go onto standby or to your screensaver. If it does the map will be messed up.

It's good, it just needs some work on the mountains! Good luck on your update!
