Porkissimo Seasonal Street Flora Mod  1.0

About This File

This mod replaces all the default street flora with Porkissimo Seasonal Trees.

To use, you simply unzip this folder somewhere convenient and read the readme. There is only one dependency, and that is the Porkissimo trees, which can be found HERE.

I noticed that Porkie's beautiful trees would be far better on streets, but there was no such mod... So I did it myself.

There may be a couple of bugs, but it seems it's the way SC4 deals with mods like this...

Note: This will not update already-existing streets. You have to draw over those streets in order to update them with the trees.

----

WARNING:

This mod is known to conflict with the following mods:
ardecila's forested streets mod
Swamper's No Palms mod [the removal of palm props seem to be okay, though]

----

This is Version 1. There may be some future bug fixes, as this is my first time doing such a street mod. The street version is fine; the road and one way road versions may be a little erratic in its pattern, but otherwise, it should be OK.

In the future, I'll most likely release a mod specifically for farms, utilizing fences and trees.

Swamper, i have a problem downloading this: I really love it but is there no possibility to keep some default trees of the game in the mod .... or making it compatible with ardecila's forested streets mod ? I just don't want to remove it... but i really want this one also...

Alk: This only replaces street trees. So you shouldn't have a problem. I think if you used Ard's forested streets together with this, you'd get a bit of a mix of both. They conflict with each other, unfortunately: they both use the same IIDs. But erm, I'll look into it for you.

This is the mod I've been wanting for ahiwle. I never use the trees in the game I use peg's seasonal tree and with this my city will look awsome. Thank you so much, 10/10

Tristantitoune said that there was a problem with this. The trees only appear when the street is unzoned. When there are buildings the trees disappear. I agree and also noted that as I removed Swamper's no palms mod they appeared in the roads. This is an excellent idea but it needs more work.

Nice Idea but I'll wait a while before I download as some members have said there are problems with it.

It looks great, but there are many problems with it so I would recommend not installing it, but waiting for the new version.

Hmm. That's a bit of a worry. Try removing the unzoned versions from the plugins folder. This is very odd, since it worked perfectly for me... I'll have to ask someone a bit more experienced about network props later on. I'll try and fix this problem as best as I can.

This is really tremendous! It didn't work for me until I removed the unzoned versions as shadow_assassin suggested - now it seems to work fine.

No problem, Porkie. Guys, for now, just remove the unzoned version, until I can figure out what I did wrong with them... It's possible it was a conflict with the normal version. :/

To all those having problems with this MOD please try the following: 1. Delete all files that say unzoned, 2. place in MyDoc/Plugin, 3. Add a Z to the front of the file name. and it should work.
