About This File

This is the third set of request lots for the BSC Raised Park series, featuring lots to go over GL Highways, Avenues, Road, Rail etc.

This set is based on some requests for additional lots to fill out the base set. It contains ten lots designed to go over street-level road/rail networks, such as Ground Level Highways, Avenues, Roads, Streets and Rail. They use the same approach as simrolle's sbahnhof lots. Like the lots in the base set, these lots (see readme) are modded to act as a combination of Flower Gardens and Plaza's, with the emphasis being on Landmark Effect (to boost commercial demand/growth). The lots will reduce some air pollution, but do use and pollute water.

Of the ten lots, four are entrances and six are centre pieces. There are two entrances with a wall alongside (one to go on the left of the road, one to go on the right) and two with an inside corner piece (again one left and one right). See the pics showing the use of both. Of the six centre pieces, there are three 1x2 and three 2x2. Note that these centre pieces are not restricted to being used over roads, they can act as normal centre pieces for the rest of the park set.

These lots are designed to match the existing Raised Park Base Set and Bridge Set of lots (and work with the other lots in the series). Technically they don't depend on the other lots but look a bit silly by themselves.

These lots are BSC Tracking Enabled (BTE) which means they may contribute to Reward Chains. Thanks to the BSC for assistance in developing and testing, and to those on SimTropolis who requested the set.

I saw the request for this. It's really quite useful and realistic, as many highways are now being built as tunnels with a "deck park" on top. Thanks DW for this and everything else. :)

andreharv - unfortunately no. When we first started building these we discuvered they looked really ugly on slopes, like an earthquake had struck. It's because the bases are models not textures.

Harlequin_666 - not sure what you mean about the "road ones". In the readme is a little tutorial on placing the lots. They need to go beside the avenue and rotated so they cover the avenue.

This would look very nice and add huge amounts of greenery to the cities in a compact form. The SimWorld's Most livable city, here I come! 10/10

this is friggin awesome!! i like how you took the time to put a ventilator on it. These remind me of some of the tunnels in Washington DC.
