About This File

Loosely based on the Darley Towers in Boulder, CO. Part of theUniversity of Colorado's Williams Village residential complex. The realDarley towers are a slightly different shape and are grouped intotwin-units (six towers total). However, they are similar in appearenceand style. On this lot, I have added the huge quantities of solarpanels to denote that this is a "bright green" development. Orhigh-density development designed to rely less on the city's utilitygrid by using modular renewable energy. This building doesn't*actually* use less energy than a regular building of it's size as faras the simulation is concerned, of course. It just looks like it, soyou'll have to use your imagination a bit.

 

I may do a growable version of this, maybe. There are some known issueswith a few very minor texture errors. Unforetunately, my computerviolently corrupted the gmax file after rendering and export, so I amunable to go back and fix several of them for a while.

 

So here is what I was able to salvage. Please rate and comment.

I'll try to remember to report on my in game exp. I'm always looking 4 mid-rise buildings, and this one looks very cool. These reviews are more helpful when the numeric and verbal seem consistent. The 10 score coupled with an obvious & direct less than 10 verbal review, is a waste of my attention.

Very interesting...the solars panels do need some work perhaps...or maybe its the picture you provided...they look like chairs.

yeah. honestly the solar panels look a bit wonky. they're facing the wonrg way too (the sun never moves in sim city so they might as well be right).
