About This File

This is a map of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. It's scaled accurately. It's 28 by 16 km. Have fun!

Instructions: (VERY important note below)

If you don't have my plugins pack, download it here.

1) Place the import.dat plugin in your plugins folder, and remove any other height mod plugins... thanks to Andy80586 and lookinin for helping me create the mods.
2) Create a new folder called Regina in your ..My Documents/SimCity 4/Regions directory.
3) Download the config.bmp file and place it in the new folder
4) Download the Regina.jpg file and remember where you downloaded it to.
5) Run your SimCity 4 game
6) Open the Regina Region
7) On your keyboard, press and hold down 'ctrl' + 'alt' + 'shift' + 'r'--this should bring up a dialogue box
8) Browse to the folder that you downloaded Regina.jpg to, find "Regina.jpg", and open this file.
9) This should start the rendering. BE PATIENT. This will likely take between 15 and 40 minutes.
10) Have fun!

Thanx Mallow! Now all I have to do is resculpt the rivers and creeks as they were messed by the render. :)

Hmm... well, it may have been the fact that I couldn't find a good map of the creeks around the area. Maybe? Anyway, thanks for all the comments!

Hmm i think the scale of the map/lake is a little bit too big! I try to recreate Regina, but the roads doesnt fit in pretty well( maybe I use the wrong scale for the roads)!

Hmm... Well, it's accurate according to the SC4 book.... However, we all know scale isn't one of the more accurate parts of Sim City 4... i.e. roads are way too wiide, etc.

ok first off, i live in regina and by the looks of it you sort of forgot the islands on the wascana e.g. pine island willow island goose island anyways in the west end where the creek is like a mini lake/pond i think u got it wrong according to my view from snapshot i am in gr.8 and i go to school rite by their this isnt bad comment but honestly i think you did the very best job so..............10 out of 10 because its the most accurate

btw the water flow has changed causing it to shift and rite now, because of al the snow we get in winter time, all our snow melted causing high risk flooding and the wascana rising this is an all time record here becuz we nevr had this much snow
