Columbia Delta  1.0

About This File

This is a modified version of Flamesrock's excellent "Columbia River Delta" map (posted with permission). I have added numerous small tributaries extending into the hills, raised the hills, and raised the flood plains slightly (to make the construction of tunnels and sunken highways easier). The map will render exactly as shown; you may wish to do a bit of smoothing with the God tools. The config file was made by Flamesrock. This map is 4x the size of a regular SimCity map.

Holy Crap!! This deserves a new word. BESTER (Bess-terr). Adjective, Exclamation:.: A combination of words describing when somehow the best becomes better. "Dude, OMG, this map is bester than the last one, I can't believe it!!"

Thanks guys. I've been trying it out with the new PEG rock and water mods and Cycledogg's tree and terrain mod - it looks so natural it's a shame to build on it :) Thanks again Flamesrock!

Calm_Blue_Sea, I know the PEG rock and water mods are in BAT, but there are a number of them. It would be really useful if you listed which one you discovered worked well with the map. I would also be interested to find out the general tree type in that area

mminion, I find that the limestone mod looks really good on this map. Using the cycledogg tree mod you will get elm/oak on the floodplains and a mix of conifers in the uplands. The highest peak is just below the level at which sub-alpine forest would appear with this mod.

This is a very nice modification of flamesrock's famous map. The small creeks and rivers are very realistic and good looking. This would probably be a very fun region to play on. Great job, 9/10.

Never mind my previous post, I had a height plugin in my folder that I should have removed. This region is GREAT!
