PART II - Building the city So, after laying out the basics, I'm ready to build the city's infrastructure. This is the new part of the city in the west of Oberbach. Just north of the avenue running from E to W there is going to be the CBD. I have no idea how I'm going to lay it out yet And a bit closer... The highway is probably going to run underground most of the time. Hello again! Here's my progress of the city: Preparation of the industrial area. I used a large freight rail station to get the goods out of town. Just before letting the city run for the first time. Present state of the city. Not much developed yet A canal in front of the large passenger rail station. Till later!!!

Hi guys! Lots of replies already! SC4 meister: I am using just a simple water mod that changes color of the water to dark blue. I can send you the file if you would like it. UnkleS27: You can let avenues become one way roads simply by dragging one way roads out of the end of an avenue; you basically extend them out of the avenue. But you have to go straight for a couple tiles. Till later!

This is going to be the heart of the city. Across the river, I will place the industrial area. And on this side of the river you can see the first parts of downtown Oberbach. I decided to put a railroad connection to the center of the city, since it is going to be European style. So some adjustments had to be made concerning the avenue. PART I - The foundation Ok, here we go! This is an overview of Oberbach. It's located on the northwestern part of the Grenoble region. We are looking southward. In the future, there is going to be a Niederbach city further down the river.

Hello everyone! After reading hundreds of post in the CJs I finally decided to share my new city Oberbach. I've been playing SimCity since the early days and still love it!!! I'd also like to take this opportunity and thank all the developers that spend their free time to create useful addons for the game. Without them, SimCity wouldn't be half as good as it is now. This is my first CJ. Oberbach is created on the Grenoble Region available on the STEX. Enjoy, an feel free to comment.
