About This File

------Sutro Tower------
In 1968, KTVU, KRON, KPIX and KGO in San Francisco,
California jointly founded Sutro Tower, Inc., to build
a new antenna tower on Mount Sutro, the hilltop estate
of the Sutro family (the same family for responsible
for the now-in-ruins, Sutro Baths).  Construction
began three years later, and by the summer of 1973 the
tower was finished and put in regular broadcast use.
The tower now houses equipment for ten television
stations and four radio stations.

The tower is a free standing, 977 feet tall steel
structure.  The foundation consists of 15 million
pounds of concrete and the tower itself weighs 3.7
million pounds.

---SimCity 4---

Very nice indeed, but isn't it a little oversized? Ingame I compared it to Hi-Risers and to me it looks out of reality dimension.Maybe it's only me.
