Embankment Station  1.0

Please note that this Station is pretty much obsolete, having long since been included as an Option in the Network Addon Mod (NAM). The NAM version also features updated modding that will avoid potential capacity problems, which can lead to a bug that prevents entire transit networks from working. If you are using the NAM, you should not download this file, rather use the NAM included version instead.

About This File

This is a station I made a while back to go with my El-Rail Embankment set (available here: https://www.simtropolis.com/STEX/index.cfm?mode=files&filetype=BAT&Str=elevated%20rail%20embankment%2030%20%20final%20version).

I didn't release it at the time since I wasn't too happy about how it turned out - it has some graphical glitches. However, looking at it now, I suppose it's well, not great, but not too bad either. So I've decided to release it now. Be aware, however, that it does have some slight graphical bugs here and there (I don't know why... I think it's just my computer that has trouble rendering properly at times).

Two versions are included: one that is integrated in the el-rail embankment, and one free-standing version. You should be able to figure out how to place them by looking at the screenshots.

Let me know if there are any questions or problems.

Passenger capacity: 6000
Plop cost: 1000 $
Bulldoze cost: 150 $

Nice to see that this can work as a standard eltrain station, i like the look of it. what were the actual glitches you had with it?

Thanks for including a freestanding version - It'll find a bit of use in my cities (the original el-station's too short).

Well, the render just didn't come out right... it looks "grainy" or "blocky" in places. But if you guys think it looks alright, then that's great. :-)

This is great. The embankment also works great with elevated heighways. Do you think it's possible to make custom offramps to blend in with the smooth green embankment, like you did with the station?
