About This File
The idea is not new - there's even a thread on it in the ST forum (Walls of Daronas LEX):
noise barriers that you put alongside a polluting road and which reduce the air/noise pollution.
In this implementation you find such a barrier for ground level roads, avenues, etc. as well as a barrier that can be used with elevated highways. The models I used for the barriers are not mine: I came across them when I was leeching some Japanese sites a couple of months ago - sorry, but I couldn't read the chap's name who made this BAT (if you know - please mail his name and I'll put it in here).

EDIT:
Reading the comments below, I was indeed struck by the fact that some people just haven't read my text, therefore I restate:
THE MODEL FOR THE TWO NOISE BARRIERS WERE DOWNLOADED FROM A JAPANESE SITE (sorry, I don't know the uploader's name - if it's SeaUrchin, then he is credited here!).
However, for the record: I DID NOT PIRATE ANY OF THE SETS I UPLOADED - in fact, I BUILT NEW LOTS, with just using the barriers as props - it was a COMPLETELY NEW DESIGN for both lots to which I ADDED THE FUNCTIONALITY OF POLLUTION REDUCTION (anyone who wants to verify this can ask me for the original Japanese lots). If this is seen as piracy or any other form of plagiarizing, they'd better close down this site because in that case most of the published lots here are pirated!
SO BEFORE ACCUSING ME - GET THE FACTS RIGHT!!!
And also thanks to the guys who did read and stood up for me in the discussion below!

Installation: just put the two dat-files in your plugin folder - you will then find the barriers in the Parks-menu.
BTW: the barriers for the elevated highway are "extended", i.e. they stick out halfway into the neighbouring lots - this way you only need one to cover two pieces of highway; moreover, they look better at ramps, crossings, and the like.
