Can believe it's been this long since my last update. Been busy with RL stuffs...but good news is I am back and BATing again!!!

Always been a huge fan of your work, and glad to see you finally thinking about releasing this beauty. Loved this tower ever since they first released the concept designs.

I think you have got the colours right for what we have seen, but in game the colours don't work too well unfortunately. It's a shame with all the effort you've put in to it. The boys over in the Hong Kong threads seem to be taking glass facades to a whole new level, and I'd love to see you have a go at splashing some of those ideas around with this building, even if to just experiment with it.

The nightlighting I think could be improved too. I'd love to see you go back to the style from your earlier works such as Guangzhou Tower and Shenzen Childrens Palace. Allowing us to see inside a little gives an impression that the building is almost real. I think showing some sign of life inside the buildings would add to that feel too.

Hmm, the way you have it now looks quite futuristic to me, I like it. I think if you were to make it more 'now' you would make the windows a bit more transparent among other things.

Hum....making the windows transparent could be difficult, since there is almost no reference out on the web. Beside, The picture of the this tower are very limited, mostly i found the same old pictures that i have seen before. But anyway,, i will give it a try. I need more information of that globe structure in the back, but just can't find any pictures. maybe you guys can help me?

It is fantastic building and to be hones I had for quite time now been harboring thoughts of making it... Wasn't sure of my skill level to do justice to the design...

So I hope you'll forgive me if I'll be a bit jealous about it...

You do have great skill and taste, but I wish you would start to work on a bit different scale. Right now most of your work is like meant to be viewed at zoom level 2 to 3 . even when you zoom into 4, let along 5 the over generalization becomes to obvious. Please understand me right, for most it would have been remarkable achievement, but not for you. You're capable of so much more! What is a poly count on Pearl River Tower? about half a million? less? I think you should do justice to design idea that is all about smooth curves. With the software you're using you can safely push it to say 2-3 million to iron our all those corners into one continues flow.

Also you can operate with "blokes" sized 4x4 or even larger. Get real size windows (that are typically 1,3-1,6 m wide), also helix on the side of the tower does seem quite a different then in the original renderings. And so does the top "blade".

All-in-all it is a great work, but I'm sure you can make it much better... Spend time don't rush it...

Also I have this interesting design of the area where the main structure curves in ... hope this can provide you with some more information for those areas on your bat.

The tower model is finished, i have made very little change on the texture and colors. Now just need to mod it. It is been a long time and i almost forgot how to make a functional mod for plopable buildings. I just wondering it there an easier procedure or tool developed for making plopables since the time i am gone? any idea?
