Hello again guys, So recently I have been trying to get this asset, the delta center, to become a campus dlc venue.However, I am having the following issue(look below) Note to new readers, mntoes solution is one to old issue, not current one in below postwith pics. -
I have had a few People tell me that they can't enable one of my assets in content manager. And it has worked in the past. They have noted that they found it missing in game, so when they check content manager they found this. I tried to update it. it runs through the update process but does not update according to steam. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=894451887 and help will be appreciated.

The danger of updated workshop items.

You probably all know how this is. You load your city and see some ominous empty spot somewhere in the city center. Most often, a modder updated their asset and changed the name of the asset. Sometimes, the asset was also pulled, for various reasons. Today I opened my current city and noticed that my tree count went from 168,000 to 91,000. Not fun. Fortunately, I made a backup of the assets. I think the bulk of it were just three assets, and I guess I will replant the rest. Plus, I will have to go back to a save from yesterday night because I didn't notice anything when I was busy building a new city quarter today. I only noticed when I was done. Yay. So, my question, how do you personally deal with this danger? Do you put crucial workshop assets into your local asset folder? -
Hello, I just recently bought SimCity4 because I used to own SimCity 2000 and it was awesome. I decided to buy 4 because all the reviews for the newest SimCity is a joke they said. For Thoughts: I have no mods. I just have the original content. I did however changed the install folder to C:/Games/Simcity 4, besides the default path. I have Windows 7 64 bit The games does play. crashes a lot. My Problem: I am having trouble updating the SimCity deluxe edition to the newest update. I went to the official EA website downloaded for the deluxe edition "UPDATE_SKU1_TO_P1_B638". I click to install it and it says this during the install progress Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match. After is finishes then it says "Congratulations SimCity has been updated with EP1 update 1 build (638)" I went to check the properties on the .exe file in the details it the version is 1.1.613-not changed.
