Hi Guys, I'm recently experiencing a problem whereas I get random CTDs which keep happening especially when I zoom the view out. I believe this situation might have had to do with the missile range replacement that I installed recently. After I removed it, I was able to play and zoom in/out for a very long time but eventually the crash have occurred nonetheless. Attached, please find three crash reports that the game saved to my docs folder. The last crash (timed 19:48) is from after I have deleted the missile range replacement. Can you decipher anything peculiar in those files? SimCity Exception Report 2022.07.16 17.52.36.txt SimCity Exception Report 2022.07.16 18.12.10.txt SimCity Exception Report 2022.07.16 19.48.27.txt

I was playing a session the other day and went into a zoning-w2w-apartments spree. I forgot time passing and didn't save for about 1.5 hours. As I was hovering over one of the custom Hotels with the query tool it crashed. I assumed it was the normal 'ACCESS_VIOLATION' but it wasn't. It wasn't anything I ever saw before (I had access violation and another one with INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO caused by a bad plugin). This is the first 20 or so lines of the exception report: Exception time: 09/08/2015, at 00:51:04. Exception code: 0xC0000096 (-1073741674) PRIV_INSTRUCTION. Current thread ID: 10552 (0x00002938). Nowadays I usually have an alarm so I save every 30 minutes or so) Exception time: 08/27/2015, at 16:36:58. Exception code: 0xC0000005 (-1073741819) ACCESS_VIOLATION. Perhaps they could be the problem...? On the other hand my game still runs for long hours with good stability with a 900MB plugin(not very large!) unlike many others who say they CTD within the hour, even just with NAM.... see how there is nothing next to the 'exception module' and that EBX is 00000000 (unlike the bottom one with ECX, ESI at all-zero)

I started the Big City Tutorial of the Maxis Default Timbuktu Region and it crashes as soon as the city loads. I've never had any crashing problems before. I haven't loaded hardly any plugins except the NAM on this clean install this year on this new computer built in Jan 2010. I'm planning to load seaports, farms, vehicles, but haven't yet. I rebooted the computer, eliminated any unnecessary programs such as antivirus, then started only SC4 to see if that would give more RAM to load the Big City Tutorial. Same result. No difference. Multiple other tries resulted the same. Does the Big City Tutorial have a problem and crash for other people? Any thoughts as to why it does this? I have the Exception Report but do not yet know how to decipher what is useful in it. Anyone know how to learn the crash reason using the report? Thanks. EDIT: The Making Money Tutorial does the same thing - But all the other's work fine. (I also just reset the Tutorials, and all the same results as before.)
