Another week, another map! This time it's Shenzhen-Hong Kong, China (for SimCity 4). Shenzhen, located in Guangdong province, is the technology capital of the People's Republic of China, home to many tech companies and 17.5 million people with a metropolitan area population of 23.5 million. Hong Kong is an international financial center and is home to 7.3 million. The map is 24 x 20 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format. Another week, another map! This time it's Nagoya, Japan (for SimCity 4). Nagoya is located on the Japanese island of Honshu. It is the largest city in the Chubu region with a metropolitan area population of 10.2 million people. The map is 24 x 28 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. It has been rotated to better align the runways at Nagoya/Chubu Centrair International Airport to the SC4 grid. Another week, another map! This time it's Paris, France (for SimCity 4). Paris is the largest city and capital of France. The city proper is home to 2.1 million people and the greater metropolitan area is home to 13 million. The map is 24 x 24 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. Elevations have been slightly compressed to allow for in-game water along the entire stretch of the River Seine and the map has been rotated -30' for easier street grid layout. Today, I present to you, Lhasa (城关区, ཁྲིན་ཀོན་ཆུས་), Tibet, China. Located high on the Tibetan Plateau at an altitude of 3,656 meters (11,990 ft), Lhasa is the administrative capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and home to approximately 465,000 residents. The map is 16 x 16 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. Overall elevation of the map has been lowered so that the Yarlung Zangbo River south of the City could be filled with game water.
