How to change the modded building that appears in game permanently?
Popme posted a topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
Hello! As the titles says, I wanna ask a question about changing the name of the building that appears as growable lot in game permanently. I know I can change it manually one by one, but for a city that already have 200+ building, it's a quite tedious. Besides, that method only change the name of the building temporarily. I tried to edit the building name using reader but it only works for the building which has SC4DESC. The problem is most building I'm trying to edit only have SC4LOT and editing the name in those exemplar doesn't seem to change anything. Can someone help me? -
Is it possible to delete or change props/automata in a mod?
Popme posted a topic in SC4 Modding - Open Discussion
Hey, so I recently installed IRM, and while most of the author's building designs are fantastic, they tend to strive for realism by adding company logos and markings on some of their truck containers (Evergreen, etc). While that's completely a matter of taste, it kind of bothers me because I'm a big fan of vanilla design, and SimCity 4 rarely (as far as I know) includes real-world logos on their props or automata. I also have the same problem with Peg's CDK3 contents. So, here’s my question. Is it possible to make adjustments (either by removing the related props or replacing them with others) to the mod so it becomes more vanilla friendly? If so, how would I do that and with what tools? -
Simtropolis x sc4pac: a new way to install plugins

Hey, I just want to ask how the app works. I downloaded a mod that requires certain parts from the recent BSC Common Dependencies Pack. As I said, it only needs specific parts. But during the process, it downloads the entire pack, all 1.7 GB of it. If it only installs what the mod requires, then where does the rest go? It'd be more helpful if I didn’t have to download the whole pack when I only need some parts of it. But at the very least, I don’t want to bloat my already limited storage so please tell me it won't keep the unused files as cache or something. -

Thank you, I feel so dumb. I just realized it's modular part of the whole CAM, lol. Sorry! -
Colossus Addon Mod 2.5 Out Now

Hey, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I’m not sure where else to go. For context, I’ve already installed the Colossus Addon Mod (CAM), then I came across this mod: Colossus Addon Mod Modpacc Zero and I was wondering about the dependency list. There’s a mod that seems to already be included in the main CAM (Web Button Improvement), or at least its functionality is. Doesn’t that mean adding it as a dependency would be redundant? Also, I don’t really understand the purpose of that mod. Does it add supplementary features that aren’t included in CAM? Or is it basically a lite version of CAM that’s alright to be used with SPAM and/or vanilla, like how NAM Lite works? Can I just ignore most, if not all, of the dependencies since they don’t seem to affect textures? Thanks!
