  1. End Lots for CDK3SP

Why do you make the blue boxes so that you can't read what's inside? Change the text color so it's readable if you feel the need to use different colors....
  2. BLaM SC4 Towers Complex Master Files

I was excited for all the possibilities your structures would offer then I saw that there were garages attached and the lots were arranged in a way that would be very limiting in terms of making a realistic multi-building complex.... which I'm assuming was the whole point. That's too bad- could've been very cool
  3. mipro BSP Chase Tower

Although I don't like the bldg in real life, this is a great version and will be useful as a midrise in the game. I dunno why but I've always thought the plot of land this is on would be a great place for Detroit's tallest..... maybe in 2099 whan all other parcels are filled up ;)
  4. LG Electronics

Why add that lot at all? It's unnecessary and quite ugly/unrealistic. The actual bldg isn't bad but the base texture and detailing looks off.
  5. mipro Barry Sanders Project

Good to see you've started again on the Penobscot, Jason. I've liked all your relases but this is sure to be my favorite and I already have an open spot for it at the center of my downtown. Also, I've never heard anybody mention it but I think the future Greektown casino tower would be a popular addition to the STEX. Maybe I'll get off my ass one day and learn how to BAT stuff. Do you need a fancy computer to do decent bldgs or would a normal one suffice? Keep up the good work and enjoy your time off this summer!
  6. mipro BSP Park Avenue Building

Wow, this is a nice surprise! I can see these two from my window. Well done and very useful for rustbelt-type cities and as dwntwn filler bldgs which we need more of. I'll be checking in to see what else you're planning.
  7. Jason's BATs & Tutorials

Hey- congrats! I'm saving a spot for the Penobscot in my old CBD area of my city. It's gonna be the apex bldg so I'm trying to buildout from where it will be. Any idea what the lot size is going to be? This IS the one bat that I've been the most excited to see be released ever on the STEX honestly. I can see the top of the Penobscot from my window and I can't wait to have a form of it in my city. Late spring, huh? Well..... my birthday is 4/20 if you're into b-day gifting Curious where in metro detroit do you live Jason? I've seen you a few times on detroityes! so was wondering if you were a fellow downtowner.
  8. Jason's BATs & Tutorials

Can't wait to see what progress you've made on the Penobscot. It looks great so far!
  9. Jason's BATs & Tutorials

Nice new additions, Jason! Selfishly, I wasn't happy when I heard you were doing a HK BAT because I want you to spend all your available SC4 energy on something significant from Detroit- haha. I think the Guardian by you would be awesome and would be unlike anything else here on the STEX. I'd like to have a skyscraper of that design/color for the centerpiece of my midtown I'm making.... something big made of brick. What do you think of the Stott Bldg? That one might actually be somewhat easier to recreate and, I believe, is just as impressive as the Guardian. I was driving up Gratiot towards downtown this morning and the Stott looked particularly handsome for some reason. Or maybe the old Hudson's? Too bad you weren't born as triplets so you could do all of them! I'm thinking about doing a sorta loose version of Detroit for my next Sim City project. Since you obviously know the city well, do you have any idea or what would be your guess as to the size of Campus Martius in-game? Oh yeah..... I'd love to see your Vinton completed too! Again, keep up the good work
  10. Jason's BATs & Tutorials

Hey Jason I just happened upon your thread here today and will be following it whenever I come to Simtropolis now. You're one of just a few specific batters I can name off the top of my head that I know I'll like their creations before I even see them. If I knew how to bat, we'd be doing the same kind of bldgs. I live dwntwn Detroit and would love to see more of these scrapers represented. You'd be the perfect person to take on the Penobscot although I know what a job that would be. My favorite scrapers dwntwn are the Stott and Guardian. There's nothing like them at all on the STEX and they'd be a great tallest in any old-style city. Keep up the good work man!
  11. mipro BSP The Detroit Free Press Building

10- I live dwntwn Detroit and this is right on the money. These are the style of bldgs that I love the most and u do a superb job in recreating them. I think one of the taller scrapers of dwntwn detroit (Penobscot-Guardian-Stott) would go over very well here on the Stex
  12. Two International Finance Centre V1

This is the one bldg that I've always wanted in my city. I thought it was more gray in real life but the blue looks just as good. First time ever rating for me and obviously I give you a 10! Beautiful!
  13. Show us your Downtown!

Paulv- Can u please direct me to where you downloaded the 2IFC bldg? That's the one that I've always wanted in my city. I would appreciate it very much!
