ST Challenges

Here we celebrate all the amazing images that have been inducted into the Simtropolis Challenges Hall of Fame.
These images have come from a range of contests, as described in their descriptions.
This includes  Weekly     Extended     Monthly  and  Custom Content  challenges.
All HoF images share one thing in common -- they have been voted by you, our member base, as being the best of the best. Congratulations to each and everyone who has made it here.

This is the voting album for the Weekly Challenge in which members were asked to submit their Best Military Or Naval Base.
Military forces are, unfortunately, a necessary part of many cities and regions. And while these serve an important function, they aren't without their own intricacies. Submit your best military or naval base in this weeks challenge! We really want to see how interesting and varied your bases can be!
Use this album to vote on which image you think should win. Do that by rating the image. You can rate these any amount you want, but in the interest of finding a winner you might want to rate each image differently. This album will close in a couple of days, so feel free to rate and comment while you can.

City Life, show us what makes your city unique and what expresses how Sims live their life within your region. This is a really simple and easy challenge to get you back into the swing of things. Just show what makes your city unique, that could be a public park, your downtown area, a port, your railway network, a historic suburb etc. Really there are no limits on what you show, just show us what makes you city unique and describe it to us.

Sport complexes can be the centre of tourism in cities, or they can be the small pitches which local children use during the summer.
In this challenge we want to see what your citizens use to play sports on. This can be anything and of any size, in our minds a complex must contain atlas something sports related, exercise  equipment or a football pitch for instance. Really anything, as long as it is sports related.

Cities Skylines opens up new ways in which we can view the cities we have built. With this brings exciting new dimensions, and we want to explore them in these series of challenges.
This first challenge has you submitting images from the view of your citizens. Street level images show exactly what the world which your Cims inhabit looks like, and we want to see what that looks like. So submit these images into the album below and we will cast a winner and runner up who will win reputation points and be entered into the Hall Of Fame.

Mass transit can help create a stable city, but at its core can be very hectic. Lets see the centres of your transport system. Every great city has one, grand central station for instance, so lets see yours. It can be range from a group of small bus stations, a large train station, to a ferry terminal, or a mixture of them all. Lets try to keep it around mass transit.

Building interchanges in  C:S  is so liberating. The system they have allows for almost any interchange imaginable, and we'd like to see everything that you've imagined! So lets see what interchange sets your city apart. Try keep your interchange as a creation of your own, but if you must use a pre-made one then that's okay too.

The backbone of a region's industry, farming plays an integral part to a country's economy. Away from inner-city congestion is the industrious nature of agricultural life. Tractors, ploughs, and combine harvesters all have a job to do. There are so many details on a farm, and each is unique in their own way.

This week's challenge looks into the lifestyle of the rich and the famous, specifically around where they live.
High-rises! Skyscrapers! Apartment Buildings!
Submit your images which show off the high-rises or skyscrapers in your city. These obviously don't need to be in downtown, but that is more than welcome too, you could show off a seaside escape, a suburban anomaly, or maybe its the only skyscraper in your city. As long as it shows off your tallest buildings, that's what we want to see.

Little diversion for this week's challenge. It was previously announced, but with the new C:S update we just had to jump into the Night. The new update brings something that has been available in SC4 for over 10 years, but that doesn't stop it from being beautiful.
Submit images showing off what happens when the sun goes down. These could be between either sun set, to sun rise.
Oh, and this time feel free to submit an image from both SC4 and/or C:S . We've all got our favourite SC4 night time image, and we don't want to limit your exploration of C:S .
So feel free to upload two images, as long as they are from different games.
